The Beauty is in the Eyes of You

CULTURE SUMMIT

July 2023 // New York, New York

ABOUT THIS EVENT

Culture Summit 2023 offered a unique approach to beauty exploration. Our goal was to guide participants through a journey of self-discovery regarding their beauty identity. We achieved this through engaging painting workshops, thought-provoking panel discussions, and an immersive surrealist grazing dinner experience. Our aim was to create a relaxed and interactive atmosphere, focusing on personal connection rather than technicality, all curated by Sustain Frame and partners.

Central to the event was our acknowledgment of industry leaders in the beauty sector who are actively incorporating people and planet initiatives into their businesses. This was exemplified through a curated small business marketplace featuring various beauty brands, highlighting their commitment to sustainability and social responsibility.

Self-Portrait Painting

Designed to center on the creation of self-portrait paintings using plants and vegetables as natural paints. Throughout the session, participants engaged in discussions about self-perception, reflecting on their inner feelings to cultivate positive self-affirmations during the creative process.

Out of Seam Natural Dye Workshop

Powered by Social Studies, attendees experienced a hands-on workshop exploring natural dye techniques, connecting with sustainable beauty practices.

Surrealist Graze Dining Experience

Led by Chef Maya Harrison and Chef Imān Bénet, guests indulged in a unique dining experience featuring vegetarian, pescatarian, fresh, and allergy-friendly dishes, including Reform Botanicals CBD oil-infused options.
