Natural Watercolor Art: Painting with the Palette of the Earth
THE EXPRESSIONIST WORKSHOP
About this Event
The Expressionist Workshop is where we celebrate the essence of eco-conscious creativity. Our unique approach to art involves utilizing natural plants and vegetables—like turmeric and beetroot—to forge a deeper connection with our creative expressions. This journey of painting with earth-friendly materials offers an enlightening contrast to traditional art-making methods, inviting creatives to explore and adapt to the distinctive textures and potentials these materials provide.
This workshop is a continuous program dedicated to fostering a community of artists who are passionate about sustainable and innovative art practices.

A celebration of creativity and self-love through art
A special prelude to Valentine's Day, this event was co-hosted with Womanly and featured Zehra Mirza, offering a night of self-love and art exploration. Sustain Frame transformed the space into an art café-style ambiance, where guests received palettes of watercolor pigments made from fruits and plants, mirroring the flavors in Zehra Mirza's delicious desserts. The evening included a variety of activities, from painting personal designs and still lifes to participating in a 30-minute figure drawing session with model Camille L. Blue. A floral-crafted Photo Booth by John Leon Jansen added a memorable touch to the experience, providing solo or group photo opportunities.
