SPECIAL MENTIONS
Our event was further enriched by the thoughtful contributions of our resource partners. A heartfelt thank you to Alfred for gifting our guests with the book "Crying in H Mart," which offered valuable insights and perspectives, resonating deeply with our event's conversations. Gratitude is also extended to Mixed Up Podcast for providing engaging listening material, enriching our guests' understanding and experience. We also cherish the collaboration with Loam Love, especially appreciating the insightful piece by Dominique Drakeford, which brilliantly weaves together the narratives of identity and reciprocity.
EVENT HIGHLIGHTS
The dinner unfolded with engaging discussions on multi-racial and multicultural identities, expertly guided by Vanessa and her team. We took an opportunity to hear a piece from each breakout group, and from what we could listen to, there was such diverse and constructive conversation. Cork and Screw set a welcoming tone with their curated selection of wines and bites, while the DJ set by Samp Vamp provided a harmonious backdrop. It was an honor to share the unique creations made by Heart of Goo for our decor at the event.
